Music lovers, listen up!
The crew behind Newtown Record Fair kicked off the first Coal Coast Record Fair at the Timbermill Studios in Bulli this June – a welcome event on the community calendar. And in great news, it’s an event now set to run quarterly.
With over 20,000 records to dig through, live DJs, Capital Brewing pouring IPAs and the The Timbermill Café on-site (their falafel burger is next level!), it was an awesome Saturday spent in the unseasonable winter sunshine.
And now Kiama is getting in on the fun. This Saturday, August 25th, the first Kiama Record Fair will take over the Masonic Hall, 46 Collins St, from 11am–4pm.
With a variety of dealers on the day selling 10,000+ records from virtually every genre you could hope for – rock, pop, funk, soul, psych, garage, jazz, hip hop, to name a few – music enthusiasts are sure to come away smile on face and vinyl in hand. Hosted by Kiama’s Johnny the Fox and My Vinyl Revolution, the fair is not to be missed – and if you’re coming from Wollongong, it’s the perfect excuse for a weekend adventure further south. Get down there and have a dig.
The next Coal Coast Record Fair will take place on Sunday, September 16, at Bulli Workers Club from 11am to 4pm – put it in your diary.
