Egg & Dart Art Services
Tell us about your business…
Egg & Dart Art Services is a picture framing, artwork installation, art consulting and collection management studio. We help people style their homes and spaces with art they love.
How did you establish your business?
Egg & Dart Art Services started in 2011 in Thirroul, when Aaron opened a custom picture framing studio and small window shopfront gallery. As interest grew, the exhibitions gradually expanded, eventually taking over the entire studio space, evolving to a fully programmed art gallery and art services business.
What does your business pride itself on?
We take pride in doing simple things exceptionally well – a perfectly framed artwork, a painting hung at just the right height, an effortlessly curated living space. It’s our meticulous approach and attention to detail that set our services apart.
Tell us about your biggest successes and challenges?
Being in business for 15 years, and staying in business for 15 years! Working in the art world is such a niche market and has its challenges. Our biggest success and biggest challenge are one and the same: staying committed to growing our community’s interest in art. It takes time, consistency, and a lot of passion – but it’s worth every step.
What do you enjoy most about running your business in the Illawarra?
We love the Illawarra’s deep creative undercurrent. There’s a rawness and honesty here that resonates with what we do at Egg & Dart. Surrounded by the ocean and the escarpment, we’re grounded in a landscape that both shapes and supports us, our clients and creative community.
Offer: Book a complimentary 30-minute consultation for framing, artwork curation, or installation – available in your home, business, or at our framing studio. Book your session on the ‘Art Services’ page on the website.

What areas do you service? The Illawarra
Tell us about your business…
Andrew ‘Marshy’ Marsh is a down-to-earth meditation teacher based in Thirroul. With over 30 years of experience, his offerings support people from all walks of life in meeting their unique demands and experiencing life on a deeper level.
How did you establish your business?
I originally set up shop in Bondi but saw a great need in the Illawarra, so I opened another space here to meet the growing demand. I’m absolutely stoked—this is the best space I’ve created, and the local community has been incredibly welcoming. I’ve now decided this will be my permanent home for teaching.
What does your business pride itself on?
I’ve taught a wide range of people—from prominent personalities and elite athletes to everyday people. What I pride myself on is treating everyone simply as an individual ready to learn, deepen their lives and navigate whatever is thrown at them. Each course is tailored to meet the clients’ specific needs, teaching a very simple but powerful meditation technique. After the two-day course, they have the skills to enter deep meditative states and practice independently for life (although they love the free weekly group sessions that follow on from the course).
Tell us about your biggest successes and challenges?
I absolutely love seeing people’s lives change overnight. That’s undoubtedly the biggest success, and I’m fortunate to experience it again and again, with every person.
What do you enjoy most about running your business in the Illawarra?
Everything! It was so fulfilling building a community around meditation in Bondi, and now it’s beautiful to see it happening here too.
