Ad bookings close one month prior to publication. For example, bookings for our Winter 2024 issue (out 1 June) close on 1 May.
What is the circulation?
We print up to 12,000 copies per issue and hand-deliver (with love!) between Helensburgh and Kiama.
Where is the magazine stocked?
From your local corner cafe to Wollongong’s Visitor Information Centre, we distribute to over 150 small businesses, news agencies, cafes, hotels, libraries and busy high-traffic areas all across the region. Find all of our stockists here.
Yes. Our past issues can be read on our website – in fact, we have over 5000 users reading the mag online.
I don’t have a graphic designer to create an ad, can I use yours?
Absolutely! We offer an advertising design service, so we can work together to create the perfect image for your business.
Can I promote my business on Coal Coast’s social media?
Yes. Print ads (excluding mini profiles) receive a free 4-week digital campaign on our website and social media. We also offer digital only ads, such as our Baby and Parent Directory or Premium Event Listing, which is great for promoting upcoming events and gigs that miss our print deadline.
Is the magazine FREE for readers?
Yes! You can be sure that the people taking a copy the magazine are active readers – they are interested in our community and keen to support local businesses and organisations.
